2007: Played in all 31 matches (100 games), including four starts ... recorded 178 digs averaging 1.78 digs per game and 21 service aces on the season ... recorded five double-digit dig matches, including a season high 18 digs against Kent State (9/28/07) ... recorded her 1,000th career dig against Ball State (10/20/07) ... recorded her 100th service ace against Buffalo (11/10/07). 2006: Member of the Academic All-MAC squad ... played in all 109 games ... compiled 248 digs, including nine double-digit dig matches ... recorded 30 service aces ... tallied four of those service aces against Youngstown State (9/15/06) ... picked up 17 digs and four assists, both season highs, against Duquesne (9/15/06) ... totaled 42 assists on the season. 2005: Played in 115 games... had a season-high 12 points in the season opener at UIC (9/2/05)...recorded 290 digs....had a four-game stretch in which she posted double-digit digs, concluding with a career-high 23 digs in a win at Ball State (9/25/05) ... just two matches later, posted another 20-plus dig performance against Northern Illinois (10/2/05) ... averaged 2.52 digs per game.
2004: Started 26 of 31 matches...saw action in 106 games...was third on the team with 2.38 kills and fourth on the team with 2.97 digs per game...posted career-highs in both kills (19) and digs (22) in a three game sweep over Wright State...also recorded a .529 hitting percentage in that same match...had seven double-doubles this season, including an 18 kills and 14 dig performance in a win over arch-rival Toledo...in the two matches with Toledo she averaged 4.00 kills, 3.13 digs and hit .419. High School: Earned three letters at Joliet Catholic Academy...this fall, the 5-10 left-side hitter helped the Angels to a 36-2-1 overall record and an ESCC Conference Championship with a 9-0 record. Despite missing eight games with an ankle injury Karges still posted 211 digs and 280 kills in her shortened season. She was named first-team by Joliet Herald News, Chicago Sun Times and the Daily Southtown. Personal: Maggie Karges was born February 18, 1986...daughter of James and Cyndi Kargas...also earned two letters in softball and basketball...is majoring in Dietetics, with a minor in biology/fitness.
