2007 XC: Ran in three of seven meets this fall, finishing with a season-best 5K time of 20:06.85 at the Falcon Invitational. 2007: Ran a career-best in the mile at the Indoor MAC Championships in a time of 5:15.41...2006 XC: Ran in five of seven meets this fall, setting a 5K PR of 19:51 a the Mel Brodt Invite and a 6K PR at the Roy Griak Invite, running 25:43.

High School: She was a member of her high school's first state qualifying girls cross country team in 2002 (Team finished 9th of 16) She was a member of the Bowling Green High School Girls Cross Country Team that won the 2003, 2004, and 2005 Division I State Cross Country Team Championships. She participated in the first annual Nike Team National Cross Country Championships in Portland, Oregon in December 2004. She earned first Team NLL in 2002, 2005, and second Team NLL in 2003. Named Senior All-Academic Cross Country Athlete. She earned four Cross Country Varsity letters. Earned Academic All Ohio Cross Country Athlete in 2003, 2005. A Member of the National Honors Society, and the French National Honors Society. Was coached by Bob Rex and Duff Madaras at Bowling Green Junior High School and coached by Brain Tucker and Patrick Carney at Bowling Green Senior High School. Has run personal best times of 5:25 for 1600m, 12:15 for 3200m and 19:23 for 5000m in cross country.

Personal: She is the daughter of Kathy and Jose Luiz Pereira de Almeida and plans to major in Architecture.
