2007: Finished second in the 800-meters at Findlay...Won the 600-meters at the CMU Tri-Meet...Fifth in the 400-meters at the All-Ohio Championships...Ran a personal-best 2:15.44 in the prelims of the 800-meters at the indoor MAC Championships and ran 2:15.92 in the finals to finish seventh...Finished third in the 400-meters and fifth in the 200-meters at the Toledo Invite...

2006: Finished fourth in the 400-meters at the BGSU Quintangular with a time of 59.32. During the outdoor season, Yemoja was part of the seventh place finishing 4x400-meter relay team at the Outdoor Championships that ran the fastest time since 2004 (3:51.40). Ran a 200-meter personal-best time of 26.10 seconds at the Toledo Tri-Meet.

High School:Yemoja Marotta was a graduate of Saint Ursula Academy where she earned 5 Varsity letters in the sports of Cross Country (running her freshman year), and Track. She was named All-City her freshman year in the 4x800m and 4x400m relay. Yemoja holds four high school records in the 4x800 m relay, 4x400 m relay, 4x200 m relay, and in the 400m dash with her personal best of 58.1. She was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the Year both her freshman and senior year in high school. She lead her team to regionals all four years of her high-school career, and senior year (2005), to state in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:58.44.

Personal:Born on December 4, 1986, Yemoja is the daughter of Michael and Norma Marotta.
