High School: Sarah held a personal-best of 7.46 for 55m, 12.1 in the 100m and 26.1 in the 200m...School record holder in the 100m and as a member of the 4 X 200m relay... voted most valuable player in 2004 and 2006.... Won the 100m at Regionals in 2006... State qualifier in the 100m, 4 X 100m relay and 4 X 200m relay in 2004...Was first team in the Huron League in 2006...Captain of the track team 2006 and 2007... Also played varsity volleyball for two years... Also a member of the Airport High School basketball team where she served as captain and earner first team Huron League and All-Region honors...Was coached by former Falcon basketball standout Casey McDowell...high school track coach was Rick Grant and AAU track coach James Hall. Personal: Daughter of Joy and William Hooten...plans to major in nursing. |
