2008: Named first team All-MAC for the second straight season ... earned ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America third team honors ... named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District first team and Academic All-MAC for the second straight season ... started all 43 games at first base playing every inning for the Orange and Brown ... led the Falcons with 26 RBIs and 388 putouts ... second for the Falcons in batting average (.347), slugging percentage (.579), hits (42), doubles (8) and homers (6) ... tied for the second best fielding percentage (.986) ... opened the season with an eight game hitting streaking, including three multiple hit games ... intentionally walked four times over the season, including her the first time of her career against Ball State (April 5) ... went on a seven game hitting streak during the Falcons home stand, including tying her career high RBIs (4) in back-to-back games ... hit a career high two homers against EMU (April 11), becoming the sixth Falcon in program history to accomplish such a feat ... ended her collegiate career recording at least one hit in six of the last seven games, including three multiple hit games ... named MAC East Division POW twice (March 11 & April 15), MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week (April 17), and to the War Eagle Classic All-Tournament Team.

2006: Named to the Academic All-MAC Team in her first year of eligibility ... the MAC's Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week on May 10 ... played in 59 of BGSU's 60 games, starting all 59 ... hit .294, good for fourth on the team ... had a team-high three triples, and was second on the Falcons with 52 hits and 26 RBI ... also second on the Brown and Orange with 69 total bases ... batted .312 in MAC games, with a .403 slugging percentage and a perfect 1.000 fielding pct. in 22 chances ... overall, was third on the team with 11 doubles and tied for third with 17 walks ... had 14 multiple-hit games, the second-highest total on the team ... also second with eight multi-RBI contests ... tied for second in the MAC in triples ... in MAC play only, tied for sixth in the league with 24 hits ... went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs and three RBI in second-game win over Detroit ... that capped a home-opening doubleheader in which she went 6-for-7 vs. the Titans ... 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and two RBI at Northern Illinois ... that NIU game capped a weekend in which she hit .438 (7-for-16) in four road contests, vs. Western Michigan and NIU, en route to the MAC S-A-O-W honor ... also had a two-hit game vs. Akron in the MAC Tournament opener, doubling and driving in a pair of runs ... that culminated a four-game stretch in which shw went 9-for-16 with seven RBI ... made 35 starts in leftfield, 22 in right and a pair at first base ... hit .303 (20-for-66) with runners in scoring position ... with a runner at third base and less than two outs, had an RBI in 10 of 17 opportunities (.588) ... went 3-for-4 (.750) when batting in the 10th inning or later ... hit .500 (5-for-10) in extra innings ... batted a team-high .349 in the month of March, leading the Falcons with 13 RBI.

2005: Named to the All-MAC Second Team in her first year as a Falcon ... played in 58 games, with 57 starts ... 34 of those starts came at first base, with 13 in rightfield and 10 in left ... hit .284, third on the team ... led the Falcons in homers and runs batted in on the season, with three round-trippers and 34 RBI ... drew a team-high 19 walks ... had nine doubles and 68 total bases to rank second on the club ... also second on the Falcons in slugging pct. (.420) and on-base pct. HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for Perrysburg High ... helped the Yellow Jackets to a Northern Lakes League title her senior year, hitting .452 ... earned All-Ohio Second-Team honors that year, and was named to the All-NLL and all-district first teams in each of her last two years ... her career total of 118 hits was second in school history, behind only former Falcon Jenifer Kernahan ... also earned four letters in basketball, two in soccer and one in volleyball for PHS, garnering at least one all-league mention in every sport ... in hoops, broke the single-season record for three-point field goals made ... National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Frank Vallas and Jeaneen Hall ... born Jan. 5, 1986 ... an only child ... an exercise science major with a cumulative GPA of 3.95 through the fall, 2007, semester ... has played travel ball for SGS Magic, helping that team to a USSSA World Series title in 2003 ... the prior year, was named the tourney MVP as Magic won the USSSA State Tournament.
