CARTER AND THE FALCONS
Was part of an era of unprecedented success in women's soccer at BGSU ... helped the Falcons to four MAC Tournament appearances, three trips to the conference tournament championship match, two league tourney titles, one MAC regular-season crown and a total of 42 wins in her four years ... BGSU won the 2004 MAC Tournament title, and both the regular-season and tourney titles in 2005 ... the Falcons advanced to the NCAA Championships in each of those two seasons ... BG, as mentioned, made MAC Tournament championship-match appearances in each of the first three seasons ... ended her BGSU career with 21 points on six goals and nine assists.
2006
A BGSU co-captain ... earned both the "Hustle" award and the Leslie Dawley "Fighting Falcon" award ... the former award is given to a player who shows a consistent enthusiasm for the game and a tremendous work ethic, both at practice and during games ... the latter award is given to a team member who, through words and actions, most accurately reflects the program's philosophy of 'Today I gave all that I have, for everything I left behind is gone forever' ... capped off her career by starting all 20 games, one of just two players to draw the starting assignment in every match ... had three assists on the year ... those assists were in the Xavier, Kent State and Buffalo matches, with the first two coming on overtime winners.
2005
Played in all 23 contests, starting 20 ... finished fifth on the team in scoring, with 10 points ... fourth on the Falcons with four goals ... netted both of the team's goals in a 2-1 win at Central Michigan ... that performance earned her the MAC Player-of-the-Week honor on Oct. 24 ... also scored in home wins over Buffalo and Cleveland State ... had an assist in the Falcons' regular-season title-clinching win at Toledo, and also assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Akron ... started the final 17 matches of the year, including all 11 MAC contests, the three league tourney matches and the NCAA first-round game vs. Michigan State.
2004
Played in 23 matches, making 19 starts ... scored five points, on two goals and one assist ... first collegiate points came at an opportune time, as she had the final two goals in 3-0 win over Toledo as BGSU clinched a MAC Tournament berth ... those two goals came just 7:25 apart ... named the MAC Player of the Week for that effort at UT ... followed that with an assist in the league tourney quarterfinal win at Kent State ... started 16 of the season's first 17 matches, and also started the final three contests of the year ... named to the MAC's Academic Honor Roll.
2003
Played in 21 matches in her first season, making one start ... had three assists, all coming in one-goal wins ... first collegiate point was an assist in the Akron match ... also had assists on the road vs. Miami and Northern Illinois ... initial collegiate start came in the regular-season match vs. Eastern Michigan.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned a pair of letters at Hilliard Darby ('03) under coach Shane Woodruff ... an All-Ohio Capital Conference Second-Team selection for the Panthers ... also earned a pair of letters in cross country, where she was a two-time team MVP ... was a First-Team All-Ohio runner in 2002, placing 25th in the state ... also was named to the All-OCC and all-district first teams as both a junior and a senior ... captained the cross country team the latter year.

Lindsay Michele Carter was born June 28, 1985, in Kingston, N.Y. ... exercise specialist major who finished with a 3.13 cumulative GPA at BGSU ... daughter of John and Julie Carter ... the youngest of four children ... has two brothers and a sister ... has played club ball with Ohio Premier as well as the Eagles ... former team won five State Cups ... also has experience with Ohio South Olympic Development Program (ODP).
