THE 2006-07 SENIOR CLASS
BGSU's senior class in 2006-07 was arguably the finest in school -- and Mid-American Conference -- history ... Amber Flynn, Julie Gompers, Liz Honegger, Carin Horne, Ali Mann and Megan Thorburn helped the Falcons to an average of over 25 wins per year, going 103-25 (including a perfect 8-0 vs. Toledo) ... BGSU advanced to the championship game of the MAC Tournament in all four seasons, winning the last three ... in fact, the Falcons won both the league regular-season and tournament titles in each of the group's final three years, advancing to the NCAA Championships ... as seniors, the class helped the Falcons to NCAA tourney victories over Oklahoma State and #7/8 Vanderbilt, for the first 'Sweet 16' appearance ever by a MAC women's team ... that 2006-07 squad won 31 games, the most by a MAC basketball team -- men or women -- in history.

HONEGGER AND THE FALCONS
Made a school-record 127 starts, starting every game but the first one in her stellar four-year career at BGSU (therefore, she also holds the school record for consecutive starts) ... the only player to hold school records for both three-point field goals made and blocked shots at an NCAA Division-I institution ... made 216 triples in 604 attempts (also a school record) ... finished her BGSU career ranked fifth in scoring (1,522 career points) and fourth in rebounding (903) ... obliterated the school record for blocked shots, ending her career with 188 ... the only player in Mid-American Conference history to block at least 125 shots and make at least 125 three-point field goals in her career ... also the only player in school history with more than 40 rejections and 40 triples in the same season, and she achieved that milestone twice ... had 50 blocks and 59 treys as a sophomore, and 52 blocks and 57 triples in her junior year ... sixth in BGSU history in career steals (202) and field goals attempted (1,222), and tied for sixth in field goals made (556) ... ends her career owning three of the top-five single-season three-point totals in school history, and four of the top eight blocked-shot totals in BG annals.

2006-07
A team tri-captain ... started all 35 games ... averaged 9.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game on the season ... All-MAC Honorable Mention ... Academic All-MAC Team ... made 65 three-point field goals, tied for the second-highest single-season total in BG history ... led the Falcons in blocks for the fourth consecutive year, with 36 ... her 17 double-digit scoring games on the year included a 24-point outburst vs. Delaware ... hit three-pointer at regulation buzzer to send Notre Dame game to overtime ... also became the BGSU career blocked-shot leader in that game, swatting away four shots by the Irish ... scored the game's first seven points, en route to a 16-point night in blowout win over Oakland ... hit four or more three-pointers five times ... went 16-of-26 (61.5%) from three-point land over the first six games of the season ... scored 17 points -- all in the first half -- vs. Indiana ... scored the final nine points of that half, on three three-pointers, to give the Falcons a 43-19 lead en route to a 35-point victory over the Hoosiers ... had 10 rebounds and three blocked shots -- all against the 6-foot-7 Alison Bales -- in the Duke game ... the following night, went 3-for-3 from three-point land, setting the BG career record in the process, in win over UT-Arlington ... had the 24-point night vs. Delaware, with her 8-for-15 shooting performance including four triples ... named the MAC Player of the Week on Jan. 2 for her efforts vs. UD and Robert Morris ... tied for team honors with 17 points in home win over Kent State ... had a double-double in that game, with 10 rebounds ... had another double-double two games later, with 11 points and 10 boards at Miami ... scored a game-high 20 points in come-from-behind win over Toledo ... 17 points, six boards and three blocked shots in regular-season win over Ball State ... scored 15 points and blocked three shots vs. Oklahoma State, as BGSU won an NCAA Tournament game for the first time in 18 years ... had five points, five rebounds and a game-high four steals in the Falcons' second-round win over #2-seeded Vanderbilt ... averaged 13.5 points (second on team) and 5.0 rebounds (tied for team lead) in home games ... shot an even 50.0% from the field in home contests ... Preseason All-MAC Team.

2007 TRACK & FIELD
Following the conclusion of the '06-07 basketball season, joined the BGSU track and field squad ... her first competition came in the April 14, 2007, meet in California, where she competed in both the shot put and the discus.

2005-06
An All-MAC Second-Team selection for the second consecutive year ... also named to the MAC's All-Tournament Team for the second-straight season ... twice honored as the MAC Player of the Week, on Nov. 28 and Feb. 13 ... was named to the all-tournament team at each of the Falcons' two in-season tourneys ... in a return to her home state, was named the MVP of the Hampton Inn Classic, as BGSU posted wins over IUPUI and host Indiana to capture the title ... also selected to the all-tourney squad at the Hawk Classic in Philadelphia ... started all 31 games, ranking second on the team in both scoring and rebounding, with 13.3 points and 7.5 boards per game ... led the Falcons in both blocked shots -- with a school-record 52 -- and three-point field goals made (57) ... earned the team's Power Player of the Year award ... a native of Lafayette, Ind., made a trip home as the Falcons played at Purdue (West Lafayette) in the first round of the NCAA Championships ... was named to the Preseason All-MAC Team in October ... at the Hampton Inn Classic, averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in BG's first regular-season tourney title in nearly 16 years ... had 25 points vs. IUPUI, then scored 12 points vs. host Indiana ... all 12 of those points came in a four-minute span in the second half, as she scored 12-straight BG markers on four three-point field goals ... also was named the MAC P-O-W after that tourney ... had a double-double at Oakland, with 19 points and 16 rebounds, and also led all players with three blocks in that game ... Hawk Classic marked the fifth consecutive tourney, over two seasons, in which she was named to the all-tourney squad ... had 24 points and 12 rebounds in win over Iona at that tourney ... carried BG through a rough first half, scoring 12 of the team's 17 points during that period ... averaged 12.3 rebounds in a three-game span (vs. Oakland, Delaware and Iona), scoring 18.3 points per game in that time ... scored a game-high 19 points in home win over Ohio ... hit a three-point field goal with just 9.2 seconds left to snap a tie game in road win over Central Michigan ... in the next game, vs. Western Michigan, scored her 1,000th career point ... became just the 20th player to reach the millennium mark, and only the seventh to do so prior to her senior year ... tied for the sixth-fastest Falcon to reach that plateau ... entered the WMU game needing three points to reach 1,000, and hit a pair of free throws and a putback of a teammate's miss to reach the milestone prior to the first media timeout ... had a team-best 19 points and a game-high 10 rebounds in come-from-behind win at Toledo ... scored a game-high 18 points in regular-season win over Northern Illinois ... named MAC P-O-W after averaging 16.0 points in wins over NIU and Ball State ... also averaged 4.5 boards, 3.5 blocks and 2.5 steals that week ... scored 14 points in the BSU game, adding five blocks and four steals while going 3-for-3 from three-point land ... struggled in the first half of home game vs. Buffalo, going without a point or a rebound in four minutes ... but, had 11 points in the second half, all in a span of just over six minutes ... had four steals in the first 5:44 of that half en route to five for the game ... was 3-for-4 from three-point land in the win, adding three assists ... had a double-double in home win over Kent State, with 13 points and 10 boards ... 14 points and 12 rebounds in the next game, a narrow road win over Ohio ... also had four blocks and three steals ... team-high 17 points in MAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Northern Illinois ... in the semifinals, had game-high totals of 17 points and 10 boards in win over Toledo ... had 15 points, five boards and five steals in the NCAA game vs. UCLA.

Named to the All-MAC Second Team, and also to the Kraft MAC All-Tournament Team ... selected a BGSU co-Player of the Year (along with Ali Mann), and earned the team's Power Player of the Year award, given to the Falcons' top post player ... the lone Falcon to start all 31 games on the season ... led the team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots on the season, with 14.5 points and 8.1 boards per game, and 50 rejections to tie the school mark that she already shared ... tied her own school record with 27 blocks in MAC games ... a two-time MAC Player of the Week ... hit a team-high 59 three-point field goals on the year ... ranked among the MAC leaders in no fewer than 10 categories ... was named to the All-Tournament Team at each of BGSU's two in-season tournaments, the Brown Classic and Lobo Shootout ... had a team-best eight double-doubles on the year, including a 15-point, 13-board performance vs. Kansas State in the NCAA Tournament ... led the MAC in blocks, and ranked second in defensive rebounds ... also among league leaders in overall rebounding (third), three-pointers made (sixth), scoring (ninth), offensive rebounds (ninth), FG pct. 2004 TRACK & FIELD
Following the conclusion of the '03-04 basketball season, joined the BGSU track and field squad ... made her debut on April 3, and promptly won the discus throw at her first meet, at Bluffton ... just over a month later, was the Falcons' lone MAC champion, winning the discus event by more than six feet ... BG's first MAC champ in the discus since 1991 ... qualified for the NCAA Regionals in that event.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner for coach Jeff Waldon at Lafayette Jefferson High School ... was an all-state first-team selection by both the Associated Press and the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sport Association ... helped the Bronchos to a 17-5 record as a senior ... was named to the Indiana All-Star team that played Kentucky's All-Stars in a pair of games ... also played for the North team in the Reebok North-South All-Star Classic ... averaged a double-double for the second consecutive season and the third time in four years, with 24.4 points and 12.8 rebounds as a senior ... made 60.2 percent of her field goals and shot .423 from three-point range her senior season ... the Area Player of the Year that year ... ended her high-school career with totals of 1,292 points and a school-record 1,004 rebounds, averaging 15.0 ppg and 11.7 rpg during her four years ... was listed as the fifth-best senior power forward in the state of Indiana and one of the top 150 power forwards in the nation by the All-Star Girls Basketball Report ... a three-year team captain ... also earned letters in track and field (four) and soccer (two) had a pair of nationally-ranked high school track and field marks ... the Indiana state champion in both the shot put and the discus as a senior ... earned all-conference honors in basketball, soccer (as a goalkeeper) and track.
