Played in 33-of-34 games while earning 28 starts at forward ... averaged 10.9 ppg and nearly double-figures through the MAC season ... averaged 5.5 rpg, but accumulated three double-doubles ... connected on a team high 51.7 percent of her shots from the field ... was 63.3% from the FT line ... earned first MAC Player of the Week nod on Feb. 11 ... was the Falcons' sixth man for the first five games of the season ... saw her breakout game vs. Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 30) at the Cornell Classis going 8-12 from the field en route to scoring 16 points and pulling down three boards ... at the time the 16 points were a career high ... two games later, Breske found herself in the starting line-up as the Falcons' took nationally ranked Notre Dame (Dec. 5) to OT in Anderson Arena ... Breske would go off for 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in that game ... not only hit a jumper to tie the game at 66 all prior to a media timeout, but also blocked Charel Allen's shot and came up with the defensive rebound to send the game into OT ... recorded first collegiate double-double at Mount St. Mary's (Dec. 19) scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds as BGSU won the non-conference road contest ... followed that road performance with 21 points and seven defensive rebounds at Delaware (Dec. 21) ... went 11-17 at the Iowa State Cyclone Shootout (Dec. 28-30) while averaging 8.7 ppg through the three game tournament ... averaged 3.3 rebounds while in the post-Christmas Mid-West tournament ... began the new year with a 20 point outing to close the non-conference season with a win over Chicago State (Jan. 5) ... began MAC play with a pair of 12 point nights while nearly double-doubling versus (12pts. - 9rebs.) in a win over Ohio (Jan. 12) ... was 7-10 from the floor at Buffalo (Jan. 19) scoring 17 pts - at the time a MAC career-high ... after three game with less than 10 points and combined 16 boards, Breske contributed a steal, and three rebounds at rival Toledo (Feb. 2) ... followed that performance with almost two more double-doubles bringing in nine boards versus Northern Illinois (Feb. 9) and at Central Michigan (Feb. 13), she scored a career high 23 points and another 10 points in those respective games ... Breske also had a block and a steal at CMU ... through the second cycle of the MAC East, averaged 12.75 points and 6.25 rebounds ... highlight of that second cycle was a 17 point/13 rebound night as BGSU came from behind to beat the Ohio Bobcats (Feb. 27) ... contributed 20 points and eight rebounds as the Falcons closed the season at Akron ... was 7-12 from the field that night ... double-doubled scoring a team high 16 points while securing another team high in 11 rebounds as BGSU beat Kent State in the quarterfinal round of the MAC Tournament ... had a career high four steals and three blocks in that game ... had a team high nine rebounds in a double overtime semifinal loss to Ohio in the MAC Tournament ... went 7-15 from the field and recorded a block and an assist in 44 minutes played ... converted a shot inside the three-point line just before the half to send BGSU in to the first intermission trailing the 'Cats by only five points ... that shot capped an 8-0 scoring run over Ohio in which Breske was responsible for the latter four ... finished the MAC Tournament with a spot on the All-Tournament team ... Breske led BGSU in scoring and rebounding averaging a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds ... for the tournament, Breske was 13-of-29 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the free throw line ... she also went on to tally three assists and four steals as the Orange and Brown went 1-1 in post season MAC play ... recorded he fourth consecutive game with a block (2) as the Falcons beat Dayton in the first round of the WNIT ... was 3-of-5 that game in the first and 3-of-4 from the FT line en route to her nine point game ... had an additional three rebounds and three steals ... snatched four defensive rebounds while contributing a block and a steal in the second round of the WNIT ... in that loss at Michigan State (Mar. 22), Breske contributed six points and was 2-of-3 from the line.
2006-07
Played in 23 games off the bench ... averaged 1.4 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.2 blocked shots per game ... shot 47.4% from the field, going 9-for-19, and was 14-for-19 (73.7%) from the free-throw line ... averaged 2.1 points and 1.2 boards in MAC games, shooting 66.7% (6-of-9) from the floor ... all five of her blocked shots on the season came in MAC action ... led the Falcons with 1.8 blocks per 40 minutes ... had a season-high three rebounds vs. Albany ... picked up her first collegiate point with a free throw in the Fairleigh Dickinson game ... four points in seven minutes vs. Robert Morris ... had a point, two rebounds and two blocked shots in just three minutes of action at Western Michigan ... had a career-high nine points, going a perfect 3-for-3 from the field, in home win over Akron ... made her first career three-point field goal in that win, and also had two rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes ... four points in nine minutes of action at Buffalo ... saw action in all three MAC Tournament games ... averaged 2.8 points and 1.4 boards in home games, shooting 53.8% (7-for-13) at Anderson Arena ... averaged 3.5 ppg in the month of February, going 4-for-5 from the field and 5-for-6 from the stripe.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four letters for coaches Amy Schrader and Bill Ryan at Bedford High School ... Kicking Mules advanced to the state semifinals twice during her tenure ... BHS went 25-1 overall and won the South Eastern Conference title her sophomore year ... a two-time all-region first-team pick ... earned all-league first-team honors on three occasions, in all but her junior season ... shared Monroe County Player-of-the-Year honor as a soph, but suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the second game of her junior year, missing the remainder of the basketball season ... returned late in the volleyball season to help the Mules to the Class A state championship .... suffered another knee injury the summer before her senior year ... earned four volleyball letters and one each in soccer and track ... a three-time All-SEC First-Team pick in volleyball, and also earned all-state first-team honors in that sport ... ranked 23rd-best basketball player in the state of Michigan by Detroit Free Press as a junior ... listed the eighth-best post player in the state by Michigan Crossover Scouting Service ... National Honor Society.

Tara Marie Breske was born June 13, 1988, in Toledo, Ohio ... exercise specialist major with a 3.60 cumulative GPA through her first year at BGSU ... daughter of Carl and Marge Breske ... the younger of two daughters ... father and uncle (Jeff Folk) played football at Adrian College ... played AAU ball for the Lake Erie Lightning, earning state runner-up honors on several occasions.
