BGSU Finishes 25th In Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team posted a 25th-place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday (Nov. 10). The 31-team, 207-runner race was hosted by Indiana State University.

Senior Tom Kutter was the top Falcon finisher in the race, placing 53rd in a time of 32:19.0. Classmate Chad Kunkle was 131st overall, crossing the line in a 34:02.2 time.

Justin Perez (149th, 34:26.3), Andy Artiaga (168th, 35:02.3), Phil King (176th, 35:23.5) and Dave Larson (205th, 39:09.8) also competed for the Brown and Orange in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional.

The 10K race marked the completion of the 2001 season for the BGSU men's cross country squad.
