HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year letterwinner at Tri-Valley ... helped the Scotties to a Muskingum Valley League championship in each of his three varsity prep-school seasons ... TVHS built a 28-1-1 league record over his career under coach Dale Ross including a pair of perfect seasons in 2005 and 2007... TVHS was 45-10-4 from 2005-07 and won a minimum of 14 matches each season ... the Scotties went on to win two district championships and were regional finalists in that timeframe ... recorded 52 varsity points including a career high 22 points (6g, 10a) as a senior captain ... as a junior was named to the MVL second team and the Most Improved Player of the Year ... in his final season, was named both the TVHS and MLV Midfielder of the Year as well as first-team All-Eastern District and All-League ... was also awarded a spot on the Eastern District All-Star team ... also competed in the long jump and middle distance races as a sophomore on the track and field squad ... was the boy soccer scholarship recipient as a senior ... concluded his time at TVHS as an academic letterwinner as well as a scholar-athlete award winner.
