All-MAC second-team ... first Falcon freshman to earn a place on an All-MAC team since Jason Began (`94) and Chris Dore (`98) earned the award in their rookie seasons ... captain ... the only known freshman captain of an already established NCAA DI soccer program ... played and started in 16 matches ... made first collegiate start FIU ... scored first collegiate goal at FAU in 2-1 win ... win propelled BG (then 1-0-1) to their finest road start since winning twice in 1995 ... goal was the quickest in a rookie season under head coach Fred Thompson (second game) ... also recorded goals at Buffalo and versus NIU ... integral part of a defense that posted first multiple shut out season (FIU, UCA, IPFW, WSU) since '03 ... helped BGSU beat the Wright State Raiders for the first time since the 1983 season ... also helped the Falcon defense become the third team (at game time) to hold then No. 19 Ohio State scoreless for more than one hour of play.
HIGH SCHOOL
Helped Park H.S. to a second-place finish in the Pendle Schools League, and was named the Footballer of the Year ... also received the Coaches Player of the Year, Top Goalscorer and All-Pendle P-O-Y awards ... selected for Pendle School Boys team after scoring 10 goals in seven games.
PERSONAL
Born on Sept. 22, 1988, Toronto, Ontario, Canada ... moved to England at the age of 15, when he was signed to Burnley Football Club on schoolboy forms ... was chosen for the Canadian U17 National Team for the Fire and Ice Series ... also has represented the Lancashire Schoolboys at both the U16 and U18 levels.
