Pre-College: Spent the 2002-03 season with the Calgary Canucks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League • in 51 games, Hanson netted 13 goals and added 13 assists for 26 points • five of his goals were on the power play, while two were game winners and one was shorthanded • in four playoff contests, he garnered one assist.
