2004-05: Played in five games •scored his first collegiate point/goal on Nov. 4 vs. Notre Dame •the goal was on the power-play and the game-winner. 2003-04: Played in 34 games • made his collegiate debut Oct. 10 at Northern Michigan • saw time on the penalty kill • only freshman to rack up less than 10 penalty minutes. Pre-College: Spent the 2002-03 season with the Calgary Canucks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League • in 51 games, Hanson netted 13 goals and added 13 assists for 26 points • five of his goals were on the power play, while two were game winners and one was shorthanded • in four playoff contests, he garnered one assist.
