Diepenbrock Signs With Buffalo

April 23, 2001

Bowling Green, Ohio - Ryan Diepenbrock, who spent four years as one of the top long snappers in the country, has signed a free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. Diepenbrock, a graduate of Lima Bath High School, played four seasons for the Falcons from 1997-2000. This past year, he handled all snapping duties on punts and placements and added seven special teams tackles and a fumble recovery. An outstanding student, he also was a two-time member of the MAC Honor Roll. He is the second Falcon to sign a free agent contract with the NFL, joining offensive lineman Rob Fehrman who signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
