Baseball's Home-Opener Cancelled Due To Poor Playing Field Conditions

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University baseball team's home-opener, originally scheduled for Wednesday at Warren Stellar Field, has been cancelled due to poor playing field conditions. No makeup date has been announced.

The Falcons (7-7), winners of six of their last seven, will return to action this weekend when they head to Kalamazoo, Mich. for their Mid-American Conference opener at Western Michigan. The first pitch between the Falcons and Broncos will be thrown at 3 p.m. on Friday with game two and game three on Saturday and Sunday both starting at 1 p.m.
