2005: Vairetta once again served as the teams co-captain this past fall. He showed his leadership on the racecourse at this years MAC Championships where he finished as the teams number three runner. Vairetta had season best 28:09 at the Mel Brodt Invitational in September. 2004: Captain of the 2004 squad...finished in the top five in six of eight meets...ran a personal-best of 27:52 in the 8K and 35:21 in the 10K.

2003:Ran personal bests of 16:49 in the 5K and 28:34 in the 8K during the 2003 cross country season.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in soccer and track, three-year letterwinner in cross country and received one letter in football. Elected captain of both cross country and track teams and nominated most valuable runner in cross country and track for three consecutive years. Also part of the record-setting distance medley team. Earned 1st team conference honors in cross country, track and football and All-District honors in soccer.

Personal: The son of James and Sharon Vairetta...born April 15, 1983...majoring in business administration with a specialization in management information systems...former member of the BGSU varsity track team...has personal bests of 50.0 in the 400 and 1:58 in the 800.... current member and President of the BGSU club track team.
