2007 XC: Ran in one of seven events for the Falcons this fall, setting a new 5K PR of 20:40.14 at the Falcon Invitational. 2006 XC: Ran a 5K PR at the Falcon Invite with a time of 20:57. High School: Placed third in the 800m at the Division II Ohio State Meet...Thornton placed fourth in the 800m at the Division II 2005 Ohio State Meet... was named the League athlete of the year and earned first team SLL the past three years...was also named the Most Valuable Runner at Eastwood High School the past three years... Thornton was also a key member of the Eastwood High School Volleyball and Basketball teams. Danielle was named the SLL player of the year in 2005 in volleyball and led her team to and undefeated league season...Danielle has run personal-bests of 12.9 for 100m, 26.1 for 200m, 58.9 for 400m, 2:14 for 800m. She was coached by Richard Morgan. Personal:She is the daughter of Darlene and Jeffrey Thornton. She plans to pursue a degree in radiology or physical therapy. |
