2007 XC:Took part in five of the team's seven meets during the season. Ran a season-best 5K time of 19:39.83 at the Falcon Invitational. Finished 85th at the Mel Brodt Invitational with a time of 19:52.04. 2006 XC: Hillman's season was hampered due to an iron deficiency, but the junior was still the three through five runner throughout the season. She had a season best 5K time of 18:54 at the UT Dual. She also ran a 6K season best 23:43. She earned an Academic All-MAC award. 2006: The 2006 season was a great year for Stephanie Hillman. Indoors she finished second in the 3,000-meters at the BGSU Quintangular with a time of 10:19.28. She also finished first in the 5,000-meters at the BGSU Triangular with a time of 17.37.18. She set a number of personal bests (mile, 5:16.04; 3,000-meters, 10:19.28; 5,000-meters, 17:37.18). Outdoors Hillman had an even better season. She was the All-Ohio Champion in the 5,000-meters in a time of 18:10.71. She had a personal-best in the same event at the Nike Stanford Track & Field Classic (17:44.30). She was also second in the 2,000-meter steeplechase at the Toledo Tri-Meet. Perhaps her biggest feat of the season was her eighth place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, one of three Falcons to reach the podium. She finished with a time of 11:30.03, a personal-best. 2005 XC: S. Hillman was the number two runner for the orange and brown for six of the seven meets this fall...ran a personal best 5K time of 17:50 at the Falcon Invitational, and a 6K PR of 22:33 at the Stanford Invitational. 2005: Stephanie Hillman is the defending All-Ohio Champion in the 10,000m race, where she finished with a time of 37:24.84, the first time she ran the 10,000m. She finished seventh at the Outdoor MAC Championships in the 10,000 meters with a season-best time of 36:49.16...also posted season-best times of 11:50.11 (3,000 meter steeplechase) and 17:59.81 (5,000 meters). 2004 Cross Country: Was a top five runner in three of seven meets. Was the teams number two runner at the MAC Championships, placing 21st overall and the fifth freshman to cross the line. Ran a 6K personal-best of 22:57 at the regional meet. High School: A 2004 graduate of Westerville South High School...All-OCC and All-District member in the 3200-meter run...team MVP...owns a personal-best 11:25 in the 3200-meters, as well as a 5:24 in the 1600-meters. Personal: Daughter of Ann and Colby Hillman...born March 14, 1986...majoring in early childood education...twin sister Stephanie is also a member of the BGSU track team. |
