2007 XC: Ran in five of seven meets for the Falcons this fall. Set an 8K personal-best time of 27:37.17 at the Falcon Invitational where he finished in the 93rd-position. Finished 84th at the Mel Brodt Invitational with a time of 27:50.87

2006: John redshirted the season.

High School: John Bernard is a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School where he captained his high school cross country team during his senior season. He is an six year veteran in cross country, running throughout middle and high school. During his senior season he qualified for the cross country state meet. Some of his high school achievements include being the founder of "The Worthington Film Festival" in 2002, class president for all four years, TWTV School News Lead Anchor, played Mozart in "Amadeus" and Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors", Cardinal Star 2004 - 2006, Sons of the American Revolution Award, and was a Scholar Athlete. He held high school personal bests of 15:55 for the 5K and 4:32 for the one mile. Personal: Born July 10, 1987, John is the son of Connie and Steve Bernard. He is majoring in film.
