2nd ANNUAL BG NEWS STUDENT T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST

Design the Official 2008-09 BGSU Athletics Student & Fan T-Shirt!!!

In association with the BG News and University Bookstore, BGSU Athletics is proud to present the 2nd Annual BG News Student T-Shirt Design Contest. We're enlisting the creative skills of BGSU Students to create the official student and fan "BG Warriors" T-Shirt design for 2008-09.

Inspired by the official spirit song of BGSU, Ay Ziggy Zoomba, we're looking for a t-shirt that our students and fans can "Roll Along!" in at BGSU Athletic events all year long!

Entries must be submitted in PDF format with a resolution of no less than 300 DPI, and should be emailed to bgwarriors@bgsu.edu by no later than 11:59pm ET on Sunday, April 20, 2008. The winning design will be displayed in the Tuesday, April 29, 2008 edition of the BG News, and the winning designer will receive the following:

  • Recognition in an official release issued by BGSU Athletics on BGSUFALCONS.COM and sent to local media outlets.

  • On-field recognition during the 2008 BGSU Football home opener on Saturday, September 6, 2008 (vs. Minnesota…Time TBA).

  • The first 2008-09 "BG Warriors" T-Shirt off the printing press, framed.

  • Special prize package from University Bookstore.

Certain rules and criteria will apply as follows:

  • The winning design will be printed on an ORANGE t-shirt.

  • The winning design may be two-sided, should include no more than the two colors of WHITE and BROWN on either side, and should somehow prominently display "BG Warriors" and "Roll Along!" (official "Roll Along!" artwork file available for download below).

  • Only BGSU Students enrolled and attending through at least the Fall 2008 semester are eligible to enter.

Certain BGSU Athletic logo marks may be included as part of all submitted designs, and are available for download below. Questions or request for further clarification on anything may be sent to bgwarriors@bgsu.edu with the subject line "2008 Contest Inquiry", and will be responded to within a 24-hour period (unless submitted after 5pm on a Friday and before 9am on a Sunday, in which case a response will be received the following Monday morning).
