Associate Athletic Director

Scott Seeliger is in his seventh year in his current position and is the administrative sport supervisor for football. As Associate Athletic Director for Development, he oversees annual giving, endowments, and special projects for athletics. During his five-year tenure in this position, private funding for athletics has reached all-time highs. Prior to this position, Scott was Director of Corporate Development for the University. He has been a long time part of Falcon Athletics, having served as an assistant football coach for two stints. Scott was associate head coach under Denny Stoltz when the Falcons won the 1983 MAC Championship and also associate head coach for Gary Blackney from 1991-1995 when the Falcon football team won 17 straight conference games, two MAC championships, the California Raisin Bowl and the Las Vegas Bowl. Scott played collegiate football at Iowa State University under Johnny Majors and also coached at the University of Wisconsin under former Bowling Green alum, Dave McClain and Barry Alverez. Scott and his wife, Karen have two married children, Kori Atwood and Keri Buff. Keri is the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at BGSU.
